The initiative, part of an educational program, allowed the students to tour various clinical areas. During the sessions, the participants visited departments such as Pediatrics, the Neonatal ICU, Emergency Services, Diagnostic Imaging, Traumatology, and Ophthalmology, among other specialized units.
A key highlight of the experience was the opportunity to observe surgical procedures in real-time. The students witnessed operations across different specialties, including Cardiology and cesarean sections, while also engaging with medical staff to ask questions about their daily work.
The primary goal of these sessions is to help students interested in Health Sciences confirm their career path through direct exposure to clinical practice, allowing them to observe both patient care tasks and the internal operations of the hospital facilities.
