UD Las Palmas player Manu Fuster has stated on social media that he would not change the team's season experience, despite failing to secure promotion to the First Division.

Despite not achieving the goal of promotion to the First Division, UD Las Palmas player Manu Fuster has stated on social media that he would not change the team's journey to the first round of the playoffs. The yellow team was eliminated by Málaga CF last Wednesday at the La Rosaleda stadium.
The Valencian forward thanked "each and every one of those who have defended this crest over these eleven months." While acknowledging they would have preferred "another ending" and a return to the top tier of Spanish football, he reiterated that "I wouldn't change the journey."
Fuster, whose contract with the Gran Canaria club runs until 2028, managed to avoid the injury plague that affected the team. He participated in all 44 league matches, including the regular season and the two playoff games against Málaga. Throughout the campaign, he scored eight goals and provided eleven assists, identical figures to those recorded last season with his previous team, Albacete Balompié.
