The Regulatory Council of D.O.P. Gran Canaria has extended its congratulations to all producers and winemakers awarded at the Official Competitions for Wines, Cheeses, and Honeys of Gran Canaria. The awards ceremony took place at the Experimental Agricultural Farm, recognizing the excellence of the island's primary sector.
In the XXX Official Wine Competition of Gran Canaria 2026, Agala Altitud 1175, Las Cuevas, and Señorío de Cabrera were awarded in the red wine category. For white wines, the accolades went to Eidan Selección, Agala Altitud 1318, and Cruz. The semi-dry, semi-sweet, sweet, and liqueur categories distinguished Eidan Dulce, Dulce Lechuza, and Las Tirajanas Dulce. Additionally, Boliche received recognition for its Best Image and Presentation.
The Regulatory Council highlighted the effort and commitment of the grape growers and winemakers, emphasizing that these awards celebrate the quality, identity, and future of Gran Canaria's wines.
