A 22-year-old young woman has suffered considerable injuries after a serious traffic accident that occurred early Wednesday morning in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The incident took place on Concejal García Feo street.
Firefighters from the Emergency Extinction, Rescue, and Salvage Service of the Gran Canarian capital were dispatched to the scene of the incident. Their intervention was crucial in freeing the driver, who was trapped inside the overturned vehicle. They also secured the area to prevent further risks.
Personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the affected woman at the scene. She presented with serious trauma and, after receiving initial assistance, was urgently transferred by a medicalized ambulance to the Hospital Universitario de Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín.
Local Police officers were responsible for managing traffic in the vicinity of the accident, which may have caused delays during the early hours. They also initiated the corresponding report to determine the exact causes that led to the car overturning.
