The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports of the Telde City Council, Cristhian Santana Caballero, congratulated the club for its outstanding performance. The event, organized by the Canarian Federation of Kickboxing and Muay Thai, took place at the Terrero de Lucha de Pedro Hidalgo in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, combining sport, spectacle, and music.
The competition featured participants from clubs across the Archipelago and included various combat disciplines such as Kickboxing, K-1, Kick Light, Light Contact, and Point Fighting, with categories ranging from children to masters.
The results for the Kickboxing Coleta Club were as follows: Gissel Delgado Suárez (two golds in K-1 and Kick Light), Elizabeth Rodríguez (two golds in K-1 and Kick Light), Jonatan Samuel Rodríguez (gold in K-1 in his debut), Adriano Cordero (gold in Kick Light), Gabri Monzón (silver), Cristina Rodríguez (silver), Hugo González (silver), and Jeannette Sánchez (silver).
Cristhian Santana Caballero praised the athletes' effort and passion, noting that the medals are a reflection of their dedication. He also highlighted Telde's pride in having clubs that represent the city at such a high level, promoting values like camaraderie, respect, and self-improvement.
The club's coach, Yeray ‘El Coleta’, expressed immense pride in his athletes' work, particularly valuing their discipline and camaraderie. The Department of Physical Activity and Sports extends its congratulations to the club and encourages them to continue their work representing Telde with the same enthusiasm.
