The Telde City Council has highlighted the excellent reception of this summer cultural project, calling it one of the most unique in the municipality. The initiative has recorded an average of approximately 20 book loans per day, with a significant increase in publications aimed at adult readers.
In addition to book loans, the venue sees around ten daily inquiries for newspapers and magazines. According to the City Council, this indicates that the Beach Library not only appeals to children but also resonates strongly with adults visiting Melenara beach.
The new season of the Beach Library, which began on July 1st, has enhanced its collection of bibliographic resources and activities. It is open Mondays to Fridays, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offering free book lending, daily newspapers, internet access, and reading spaces just meters from the sea.
