The city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is set to host the second edition of the African Day Fest this Saturday, an initiative aiming to showcase the cultural diversity of the African continent and foster stronger connections with the archipelago.

The event, organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in Las Palmas, will take place at the Santa Catalina Interchange, located behind the park. The festival will run from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Under the slogan 'A meeting of cultures that unites us', the African Day Fest 2026 is designed as a celebration of coexistence and African cultural richness, with the Canary Islands serving as the meeting point. The initiative aims to strengthen bonds between both communities and provide a platform for traditions.
