The Cabildo of Fuerteventura and the Tuineje City Council present the Arena Negra Festival 2026 in Gran Tarajal, an event that will bring together prominent pop, urban music, and singer-songwriter artists.

The Arena Negra Festival, held since 2018 in Gran Tarajal, has unveiled its 2026 edition, establishing itself as one of Fuerteventura's main musical events. This year's program blends genres such as pop, urban music, singer-songwriter, and electronic sounds, spanning different generations of Spanish and Latin American music.
Among the most notable artists are Luis Fonsi, known for international hits like "Despacito"; Juan Magán, a key figure in electrolatino; singer-songwriter Rosana, originally from Lanzarote; and Delaossa, a prominent name in the current Spanish urban scene. The lineup also includes the historic Spanish pop band Los Secretos, who will perform a special show outside their regular tour, as well as Álvaro de Luna, Merche, and young Argentine artist Lauta.
The poster presentation took place on Gran Tarajal's avenue and was attended by representatives from the Cabildo of Fuerteventura and the Tuineje City Council, along with the festival's artistic direction. The collaboration between these institutions, supported by the Government of the Canary Islands and collaborating companies, ensures the event's continuity.
The President of the Cabildo, Lola García, linked the festival to economic revitalization and the scheduling of major outdoor events outside the summer season. Meanwhile, the mayor of Tuineje, David Herrera, emphasized the importance of Arena Negra for Gran Tarajal and the municipality. Artistic director Sergio Falcón thanked the institutional support and highlighted the festival's growing presence on the national music circuit.
Luis Fonsi, who began his recording career in the late nineties, has evolved from Latin pop to urban sounds, achieving global fame with "Despacito". Juan Magán is a benchmark in electrolatino, fusing electronic music and Latin rhythms. Rosana, born in Lanzarote, celebrates over three decades of career with her singer-songwriter and pop style. Álvaro de Luna represents a new generation of pop, while Merche brings over twenty years of experience in Spanish pop. Delaossa has established himself as a leading figure in rap and urban music, and Lauta contributes pop, R&B, and urban sounds from Argentina.
Los Secretos, with four decades of history, are a staple of Spanish pop. Their repertoire blends pop, rock, and influences from country and American music.
