The contract, with a base tender budget of 1,460,518.64 euros and an initial duration of three years, represents a 64% increase in the annual investment allocated to these services. The estimated value of the contract, including potential extensions, amounts to 2,729,941.38 euros.
The Councilor for Sports and President of the IMD, Carla Campoamor, highlighted that this tender will allow the municipal sports facilities to be maintained in optimal conditions of safety and operation for citizens.
The contract is divided into two lots: one for the maintenance of electrical, lighting, and fire protection systems (1,424,215.64 euros), and another for the conservation of elevators (36,303 euros). It will cover the entire network of facilities managed by the IMD, including sports halls, complexes, football fields, swimming pools, and courts.
The service will include both preventive and corrective maintenance, with 24-hour emergency repair response. High-priority incidents must be addressed within a maximum of two hours.
Furthermore, the contract incorporates measures for energy efficiency and environmental impact reduction, as well as the digitalization of service management through an IT application for maintenance and incident tracking.
Campoamor added that the aim is to extend the lifespan of the facilities, improve their functionality, and ensure safe, sustainable, and fully operational spaces for sports practice, adapting to the growth of the municipal network.
