The initiative, managed by the Department of Social Welfare, Care, and Health, has an initial duration of two years, with the possibility of an annual extension. The objective is to ensure the availability of insecticides and rodenticides needed for the interventions of the municipal Public Health Section.
The supply will be carried out progressively, adapting to the service's needs and ensuring that products are ready for use in municipal operations when required.
The tender has been divided into two distinct lots. The first, with a budget of €100,000, is allocated for the supply of insecticides. The second lot, funded with €80,000, will cover the supply of rodenticides for rodent control.
This planning will enable the Department of Public Health to have the necessary resources to carry out its prevention and control tasks in various parts of the Gran Canaria capital.
