Turismo LPA, the entity of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, has presented the capital's tourism proposal in various Spanish cities. This action, part of a national roadshow organized by Turismo de Gran Canaria, aimed to enhance the destination's visibility among travel agencies and tourism sector professionals.
The promotional tour included stops in Zaragoza, Barcelona, Pamplona, Donostia-San Sebastián, and Santander. During these events, the delegation from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria showcased its offerings as an urban destination that prioritizes responsible, sustainable tourism that respects local identity.
Between April 6 and 10, 150 direct meetings were held with tourism sector intermediaries. This initiative, driven by Turismo de Gran Canaria in collaboration with public institutions and private companies, has allowed Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to consolidate its position as a distinct urban destination within the Island, with a particular focus on its cultural offerings, especially in music.
The main focuses of the activity were sustainable growth, innovation, resident well-being, and attracting a traveler profile interested in tourism aspects beyond the conventional.
