The scenic proposal 'Maletas de Tierra' brings together five women who navigate a crucial historical period, spanning from the Second Republic through the Civil War and the post-war era. The piece constructs scenes inspired by real events that dialogue with the present.
The play centers on the skin, understood as a territory of conflict, and the traditionally silenced voice of women. Through these elements, it builds a narrative that connects memory, resistance, and contemporary issues.
This scenic work champions the female experience as a vital space for truth and historical transmission, bridging the past with current realities.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 17th, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at the Plaza de Canarias, located in the central area of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, between the El Muelle shopping center and Mesa y López avenue.
The Plaza de Canarias, known for hosting various events and festivities, is situated above the bus interchange and serves as a key hub in the city.
