Motorcyclist Injured on GC-1 Entering Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

A motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries after falling on the GC-1 highway, at the entry point to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, during the early hours of this Monday.

The incident occurred around 07:30 AM on the GC-1, specifically near La Laja and heading north, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (112).
Following the event, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched to the scene to assist the injured individual. The motorcyclist was transported by a medicalized ambulance to Hospital Insular, where they were diagnosed with moderate trauma.
In addition to the health services, agents from the Guardia Civil also arrived at the location to conduct the necessary proceedings and clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident.
