This year, the event strengthens its multidisciplinary nature by incorporating a prominent musical program that directly engages with the literary world. The initiative aims to offer a comprehensive cultural experience, combining reading with live performances and intimate encounters with authors.
Among the most anticipated names, singer-songwriter Marwan will offer an intimate concert on Friday, April 17 at 8:30 PM, where poetry and music will intertwine. For his part, Andrés Suárez will perform on Saturday, April 18 at 8:00 PM as part of his Lua tour. In addition to his musical presentation, Suárez will also present his book at the fair, solidifying the link between musical and literary creation.
The program is complemented by the Modern Music Concert by the Telde Municipal School of Music, Dance and Theater, scheduled for Thursday, April 16 at 6:00 PM, showcasing local talent. Additionally, on Sunday, April 19 at 10:30 AM, the fair will feature a performance by Malle Sarr, adding cultural diversity and sonic richness to this edition.
“"The Telde Book Fair is not just a space for reading, but a meeting point where culture expresses itself in all its forms. We are committed to a program that unites music, poetry, and literature to offer a more complete and accessible experience to citizens."
With over 40 stands, nearly 70 book presentations, workshops, and activities for all ages, the Telde Book Fair 2026 is consolidated as one of the main cultural events in the municipality, boosting cultural and social revitalization.
