The mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, has launched an advertising campaign with eight billboards in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Telde to boost the visibility of her political brand, Bueno para Gran Canaria, ahead of the upcoming elections for the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.

Onalia Bueno's strategy aims to consolidate her political presence beyond Mogán, the municipality she currently leads as mayor. The campaign, featuring billboards in key locations in the island's capital and Telde, is primarily focused on increasing public recognition across Gran Canaria.
Sources close to Bueno indicate that this advertising initiative was undertaken on the party's own initiative, without prior consultation with its potential electoral partner, the PP. Negotiations for an electoral coalition for the Cabildo are ongoing, although the People's Party has stated that they are progressing "in the right direction".
The Bueno para Gran Canaria brand is already expanding its structure and preparing to compete in municipalities such as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Telde, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Firgas, Santa Brígida, and Agüimes, where it will run in coalition with Risco Verde.
Onalia Bueno has an extensive political career, having served as a councilor in Mogán under the PP banner. After parting ways with that party, she joined Ciuca and later founded Juntos por Mogán, with which she was re-elected mayor. Her relationship with CC also ended, leading her to establish Bueno para Gran Canaria to enter island-level politics.
