A massive queue formed this Tuesday around the Altavista Market, in the Ciudad Alta district of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, for the opening of a temporary store by artist Quevedo. The initiative, named 'Baifo e Hijos', aims to expand the universe of his work El Baifo and offer merchandise that reinforces his visual identity and connection to the Canary Islands.
Hundreds of people, some with breakfast in hand, waited from early morning to enter the stall, decorated with the artist's characteristic symbols, such as the eight stars representing the archipelago. The pop-up shop offers a variety of items, including t-shirts, cups, and hats.
“"These products will be available throughout this week, from June 23rd to 27th, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM."
This marketing strategy follows Quevedo's recent success, where he sold out tickets for his concerts in Madrid and Barcelona in minutes, demonstrating the continued connection between his aesthetic and his audience.
