Emergency services intervened at Las Canteras beach, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, after rescuing a man in cardiorespiratory arrest.

Lifeguards at Las Canteras beach, near La Puntilla, pulled a man out of the water who was in cardiorespiratory arrest. Health services acted immediately, performing the necessary maneuvers to stabilize the bather, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112.
Agents from the Local Police of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Services (SUC) also responded to the scene. The man was subsequently transferred in critical condition to a hospital for necessary medical attention.
