These free collection points are for household waste that, due to its volume or toxicity, cannot be disposed of in conventional public bins. The aim is to facilitate its reuse, recycling, or recovery, thus promoting proper waste management and environmental care.
The mobile eco-points accept a wide range of materials. These include clothing, footwear, and other textiles, as well as plastic caps. Small electrical and electronic appliances (such as radios, mobile phones, hair dryers, irons, or chargers) and printer toner and cartridges can also be dropped off. Additionally, cleaning products, paints, solvents, aerosols, or varnishes are accepted, along with light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and various types of batteries.

The Council reminds citizens that it offers a free collection service for bulky waste, such as bathtubs, upon request by calling 928 64 81 81 (ext. 0161). For bulky items and pruning waste (up to 10 bags), the number is 662 195 121.
Regarding palm tree leaves, the City Council clarifies that it is not responsible for their removal. The handling and disposal of this waste require companies or individuals accredited by the Government of the Canary Islands, due to specific regulations for managing this species, which is vulnerable to pests.
