The María Auxiliadora School of Telde, in collaboration with Arista Eventos, organized this event, which has become one of the most anticipated dates in the municipality's sports and social calendar. The day was marked by sport, community, and a strong commitment to solidarity.
The activity began at 9:30 AM with the Open Competitive 5K modality, which ran through the streets of Los Llanos. A representative from the Telde city council was present at the start of the race, expressing gratitude to the educational center's staff, the organization, and all participants.
The competition was close, especially in the men's category, where the top positions were decided by mere seconds. The overall winners were Samuel Santana and Soraya Rial in their respective categories.
One of the most popular moments arrived at 10:30 AM with the Family modality, a 2.5-kilometer route where hundreds of families filled the streets with color, costumes, and joy. Later, at 11:30 AM, the youngest participants took center stage in the Pitufos modality, adding the most endearing touch to the morning.
The Salesianas Run was held on a date close to the day of María Mazzarello, co-founder of the Salesian work. The proceeds from this edition will go to the Fundación Canaria Main, reinforcing the charitable nature of the event. The trophy ceremony, which took place at 12:00 PM, included sports awards and recognitions for participants' creativity, such as best costume and most spectacular entrance.
The closing ceremony was attended by a representative from the Sports department of the Telde City Council. This edition received institutional support from the council and the backing of entities such as Holiday World and Farmacia Eliben, along with numerous collaborating companies, reaffirming the growth of the Salesianas Run and its commitment to sport as a tool for unity and solidarity.
