The incident occurred in September 2024, when the arrested individuals took advantage of the absence of the establishment's owners, who were participating in an automotive event off the island, to steal specific sector material valued at 12,875 euros.
Initial police investigations revealed that the thieves acted with a high degree of technical knowledge, as they took very specific parts, some installed in the vehicles themselves, using specialized tools for their disassembly.
In March of this year, the complainant discovered that part of the stolen material was being offered for sale through a social network. This prompted agents from the Judicial Police group to begin efforts to locate the seller.
To this end, a meeting was arranged in Vecindario, where the suspect was identified. This individual subsequently led investigators to a property where most of the stolen material was stored.
During the operation, items valued at approximately 10,500 euros were recovered, and the two men involved were arrested as alleged perpetrators of the robbery. The investigation remains open to fully clarify the facts and determine if more people are involved.
