The upcoming Business Race, scheduled for May 17 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, will feature a comprehensive medical deployment to protect the 5,000 registered athletes.

The sporting event, which will take place on a 5-kilometer urban circuit starting and finishing at Plaza del Fuero Real, will have a specialized medical operation. The deployment aims to ensure a rapid response to any incident throughout the day.
The operation will consist of 20 healthcare professionals distributed along the route. Key resources include an Advanced Medical Post at the finish line, staffed by Intensive Care specialists, nurses, and technicians, providing care equivalent to a critical care unit.
In addition to the advanced post, the deployment will include an Advanced Life Support ambulance and two Basic Life Support units. Furthermore, there will be first-response teams on foot equipped with automated external defibrillators (AED) and a physiotherapy service for athlete recovery after the race.
