Following the welcome session for the 2026/2027 academic year's new students, held last Wednesday at the Arucas Campus within the IUSA Building (Module IX), classes will officially begin this Monday.
This postgraduate program aims to foster continuous and specialized training in animal health, covering both domestic and wild animals. It also delves into advancements in Food Safety, incorporating the latest innovations in food technology under the comprehensive One Health approach.
The primary objective of the master's program is for graduates to acquire advanced theoretical and practical knowledge, thereby enhancing their opportunities for employment in both public and private sectors. The program is characterized by its multidisciplinary, professional, and research-oriented profile.
Furthermore, the master's program lays a solid foundation for future researchers and doctoral studies, as it is linked to the Doctorate in Animal Health and Food Safety. Specialized tutoring and external internships are highlighted as other key strengths of the program.
