The Arauz sector in Telde debuts this Friday as the new fairground for the San Gregorio Taumaturgo 2026 festivities, featuring a new layout that expands space for leisure and attractions.

The new location will house the traditional fairground rides and attractions, the stage for musical performances and activities, as well as food stalls and other spaces linked to the program. This reorganization represents a significant increase in available surface area and will allow for a greater variety of offerings, improved facility distribution, and an expanded entertainment selection for residents and visitors.
The choice of Arauz reflects the municipal desire to continue growing festivities deeply rooted in Telde's identity, providing them with a space offering greater possibilities to host the various activities and services that are part of the celebration in honor of San Gregorio Taumaturgo.
The Department of Festivities and Fairs, led by Miguel Rodríguez, has coordinated the necessary work and arrangements to make this new configuration possible, in collaboration with the Department of Roads and Works, directed by Iván Sánchez, as well as with the municipal technical teams involved in the site's adaptation and preparation.
The City Council highlights the coordination efforts between the different municipal areas to have a space ready for the start of the festivities, allowing the planned activities to proceed normally.
With this new location, Telde is committed to further enriching the San Gregorio festivities, expanding its possibilities and offering a fairground with more space, more attractions, and a broader leisure offering for all audiences.
