The Telde City Council, through its Department of Physical Activity and Sports, has congratulated player Eider Poles for her outstanding performance in her debut with the Spanish women's national handball team. Poles decisively contributed to the 35-30 victory against Germany, the current world runner-up, in the second of the friendly matches held at the Palau d’Esports de Granollers.
On a significant day for her career, Eider Poles scored 6 goals for 'Las Guerreras' and was recognized as Talent of the Match, thus confirming her excellent debut with the national squad. This triumph concluded a very positive preparation week for the team, led by coach Joaquín Rocamora, with an eye on the upcoming EURO 2026.
