Cristhian Santana Caballero, Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports of the Telde City Council, congratulated Club Attenya Telde for their outstanding achievements. The delegation returned from Galicia with two runner-up titles: one by the benjamin (under-8) team and another by individual gymnast Naia. Dara's performance in the cadet (under-16) category was also noteworthy.
At the Euskalgym Tournament in Bilbao, the club competed with its base teams in the alevín (under-10), infantil (under-12), cadete (under-16), and juvenil (under-18) categories. The infantil base team achieved a magnificent fourth place, tied on points with the third-placed team, after a high-level competition.
Cristhian Santana Caballero highlighted the significance of these results for rhythmic gymnastics in Telde, acknowledging the hard work of the athletes, coaching staff, and families. "These two runner-up finishes and the fourth place at Euskalgym reflect many hours of preparation," he stated.
The councilor wished the club good luck in their preparations for the upcoming Spanish Championship, expressing confidence that they will approach the event with the same enthusiasm and dedication.
