The gynecological clinic Ginelux commemorates this October 13, 2026, three decades dedicated to women's health in Telde. On this occasion, the city's mayor, Juan Antonio Peña, accompanied by councilor Juan Francisco Jiménez, visited the facilities to congratulate those in charge and learn about the trajectory of the healthcare center.
Founded 30 years ago by Dr. Ramón Santana, who still leads the gynecology team, Ginelux began its journey on Gofiones street, in the Arnao neighborhood. Over time, the clinic has grown and expanded its specialties.
Seven years ago, Ginelux moved to its current premises at Alcalde Manuel Amador Rodríguez street, number 4. During the visit, manager David Santana Robaina and his professional team guided the municipal representatives through the clinic's facilities, showcasing the medical equipment and current services.
Under the slogan "We care for women at all stages of their lives," the clinic offers advanced specialties in gynecology, intimate health, and pediatrics, complemented by physiotherapy, nutrition, and dietetics services, and a menopause unit. Also noteworthy is the work of Marta Santana Robaina, the only private midwife in Telde, whose practice serves patients from across Gran Canaria.
Mayor Juan Antonio Peña congratulated the team for their three decades of activity, acknowledging their business commitment to the municipality and the work of all professionals who have been part of the clinic.
