The initiative, promoted by the Department of Festivities and Fairs, aims to organize the presence of these mobile catering establishments during the celebrations, offering opportunities to sector professionals through a public and transparent procedure.
Interested individuals and legal entities will have a period of 30 calendar days, starting from the day after publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas, to submit their applications and required documentation. A maximum of twelve permits will be granted for the temporary occupation of public space between November 6 and 17, 2026.
Applications will be evaluated based on objective criteria, where the economic offer will contribute a maximum of 80 points, and accredited seniority and experience in the sector will grant one point per year. Permits will be awarded in order of the score obtained, and the selection of available locations will follow the same criterion.
The minimum economic amount established per permit is 109.88 euros, without prejudice to higher offers. The Department of Festivities and Fairs thus promotes an open participation formula with pre-established conditions, contributing to the organization of the gastronomic offer during the patron saint festivities.
This measure is part of the municipal commitment to transparency, public competition, and equal opportunities.
