The Telde City Council, through the Department of Physical Activity and Sports, has congratulated the Harimaguada club for its recent victory in the Canary Islands Senior Men's Dupletas Bola Canaria Championship, held in Lanzarote.

Councilor Cristhian Santana Caballero highlighted that "this triumph reflects the high competitive level of our athletes and the great work being done in the municipality's clubs." He added that "bola canaria continues to bring important successes to Telde, projecting an image of commitment and quality in every competition."
The regional championship took place at the facilities of CD Juan Barrios, in the Municipal Field of Guatiza (Teguise), organized by the Canary Federation of Bola Canaria and Petanca. A total of 16 senior dupletas (men's and women's) and 12 junior dupletas participated.
The representatives of Harimaguada, Carlos Ceballos and Juan Jesús Martel, won the final against the Timanfaya team from Lanzarote by 12 to 6, claiming the regional title.
On the other hand, the Gerardo Rodríguez club secured third place in the senior women's category, with athletes Naroa González, Antonia Guerra, and Olivia Marrero.
Cristhian Santana concluded by stating that "both the title of Harimaguada and the podium of Gerardo Rodríguez are a source of pride for Telde and an example of the growth of our traditional sports."
These results consolidate the position of Telde's bola canaria in the regional arena, reaffirming Telde, Ciudad Deportiva, as a benchmark in the promotion of traditional Canary Islands sports.
