The Plaza de San Juan in Telde will be filled with gastronomy and music this Friday, October 9th, with the celebration of 'Wines, Tapas, and Culture 2026'.

The Telde City Council presented this Thursday a new edition of 'Wines, Tapas, and Culture 2026', an event aimed at enlivening the Plaza de San Juan with music, gastronomy, and a festive atmosphere. The initiative, promoted by the Department of Tourism, will take place on Friday, October 9th, starting at 8:00 PM.
More than 30 stalls from local producers and establishments will offer a wide representation of the area's gastronomy and wines. The event will be held in the city's historic center, aiming to promote cultural activity and citizen gathering.
The musical program will feature performances by DJ Cholo, Aduén Amaya, Rayando el Sol (a tribute to Maná with José Santana), and Los Salvapantallas, who will accompany the evening with different styles.
The mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Peña, highlighted that the event has become consolidated as a proposal combining culture, gastronomy, and citizen gathering. For his part, the Councilor for Tourism, Juan Martel, valued the participation of local producers and the boost to the historic center's dynamism.
The Plaza de San Juan will become a meeting point for residents and visitors, offering leisure and local products as part of the Telde City Council's program to bring culture and gastronomy to public spaces.
