The hamburger chain 200 Gramos has opened the doors of its new location at the Meridiano shopping center, located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. With this opening, the complex's dining area, which features 22 establishments, reaches full occupancy.
The new restaurant spans 120 square meters and represents the brand's second establishment on the island of Tenerife, joining the existing one on Herradores street in La Laguna. This marks the first time the brand, originating from Gran Canaria in 2014, has established a presence in the capital of Tenerife.
The arrival of 200 Gramos in Santa Cruz is the culmination of an expansion plan that the company had been preparing since 2024. Initially, the chain operated in Tenerife through a centralized kitchen for home deliveries in La Laguna, delaying the public opening of its first establishment until municipal licenses were obtained and renovation works were completed.
The dining area of Meridiano, inaugurated in 2003, is now complete with the addition of 200 Gramos. Over the past year, the shopping center has welcomed other gastronomic offerings such as Texas Ribs, Goiko, Tasty Poke, and Chido, expanding its selection of American cuisine, hamburgers, poke, and Mexican food.
