The El Rosario City Council opens registration for its 2026 Social Tourism Program, which will allow 32 individuals over 60 years old to travel to Granada from March 6 to 11, 2027.

The program, which has 32 places (two of them social places for individuals with limited resources), is carried out in collaboration with the Institute of Social and Sociosanitary Care (IASS) of the Cabildo of Tenerife. The chosen destination for this edition is the Andalusian province of Granada.
The cost of the trip, which includes round-trip flights, hotel accommodation with full board, excursions, visits, local tastings, and travel insurance, is financed by 34% by the IASS, 33% by the participating city councils, and the remaining 33% by the selected beneficiaries, amounting to 233.31 euros per person.
Interested individuals, over 60 years old and registered in El Rosario, can obtain the necessary documentation from the municipal electronic headquarters (www.ayuntamientoelrosario.org), in the "Announcements" section, or in person at the Department of Social Action of the City Council and at the Llano Blanco Municipal Headquarters. For more information, they can call social area numbers 922 01 01 60 (Ext. 1100-1114-2014).
This initiative aims to improve the quality of life of participants through trips and tourist activities that foster encounters, coexistence, and the expansion of cultural knowledge, also offering preferential pricing for senior citizens with fewer resources.
