The Directorate General for Hemodonation and Hemotherapy of the Canarian Health Service has launched a special operation with mobile units in shopping areas across Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

This initiative aims to bring collection points closer to the public during the summer months, taking advantage of the high footfall in these areas to encourage citizen participation in a convenient way.
In Tenerife, the schedule includes the Añaza Carrefour Shopping Center this Thursday, with morning and afternoon sessions. Additionally, on Thursday and Friday, a team will be stationed at the Alcampo Shopping Center in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Meanwhile, the Multicentro El Trompo in La Orotava will remain operational until Friday.
Regarding Gran Canaria, the mobile unit will move to the Alisios Shopping Center in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Saturday, July 11, to assist donors during morning and afternoon hours.
To donate, individuals must be between 18 and 65 years old, weigh over 50 kilograms, and be in good general health. For further inquiries, the SCS provides a toll-free number at 900 234 061 and the website efectodonacion.com.
