A 39-year-old worker is in serious condition following a severe workplace accident on Juan Padrón street, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The operator fell from an approximate height of 15 meters, impacting an interior garage ramp.
Emergency services in the Tenerife capital were immediately mobilized. The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife were the first responders, securing the area and providing initial care to the injured. Tenerife Firefighters and medical personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) also collaborated, stabilizing the worker due to the severity of his injuries.
After initial assistance, a critical transfer protocol was initiated. Local Police officers escorted the ambulance to expedite the worker's evacuation to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria (HUNSC).
Due to the nature of the incident, the Local Police have activated the workplace accident protocol. The Scientific Police of the National Police and the Labor Inspectorate have been requested to attend the scene to investigate the causes of the fall.
