The Tenerife Auditorium hosted the opening of the II Congress of Socio-Health Experiences, where over 800 people are debating care and innovation in attention models.

The Tenerife Auditorium was the venue this Monday the 5th for the opening ceremony of the II Congress of Socio-Health Experiences. The initiative, organized by the Social Action department of the Cabildo de Tenerife, has brought together more than 800 participants, including professionals, entities, and citizens.
This congress aims to establish itself as a key forum for debate and the exchange of experiences in the field of social welfare, with the goal of positioning Tenerife as a benchmark in the innovation of care models.
Under the slogan ‘Tenerife Cares in Person’, the second edition of the congress structures its content through the metaphor of ‘The Four Seasons of Care’. During the opening, the Minister of Social Action, Águeda Fumero, highlighted the event's significance, stating that it “is born with the purpose of understanding care not as a minor gesture, but as what truly defines us as a society”.
During the congress, crucial topics such as technological innovation for people and direct learning from the experiences of the elderly and people with disabilities will be addressed.
The event is organized around three fundamental axes: Caring, and Transforming. It seeks to respond to current demands in the socio-health field through multidisciplinary dialogue. In the working groups and presentations scheduled for today and tomorrow, participants will delve into the need to build a more efficient and humane support network.
