The mobilization, called by the Plataforma Salvemos el Rastro, moved through various points of the capital, starting from Plaza de España and passing through Calle Castillo and the Serrador Bridge. Participants expressed their dissatisfaction with the current location, arguing that the move has damaged both commercial activity and the tradition of the event.
During the march, attendees chanted slogans in defense of the market and requested greater attention from the municipal government. According to the organizers, the initiative seeks to reverse a situation they consider unfair to the sector.
The group maintains that the relocation was based on reports that have not been shared with the vendors and rejects the idea of holding the entire sector responsible for isolated incidents. The protest highlights the importance of this space as a traditional element of the city.
