The annual event, a benchmark for La Palma wines, will take place in Barlovento on November 8, 2026. The initiative's main objective is to foster creativity and highlight student talent, while strengthening the connection between education, art, and the island's wine sector.
This year's winning poster, which will serve as the image for San Martín 2026, will be unveiled during the event. The author will receive a diploma of recognition along with other participants. For the fourth consecutive year, the Manolo Blahnik Art School is collaborating, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective to this deeply rooted cultural celebration and introducing students to the world of viticulture.
The San Martín 2026 edition, supported by the Barlovento City Council, is finalizing its program. It will coincide with the Barlovento Agricultural and Artisan Market and will include activities such as cultural visits and the traditional Jura de La Pipa (Oath of the Pipe), an emblematic ceremony recreating when wineries first released their new wine.
This activity is funded by the Agriculture Department of the Insular Council of La Palma. The Regulatory Council reaffirms its commitment to promoting La Palma wines, valuing wine culture, and boosting local artistic talent.
