The conference for Canarian women entrepreneurs, part of the international platform for major buyers such as Bayer, Amazon, and Accenture, was presented by the Vice-Minister of Economy and Internationalization and Vice-President of Proexca, Gustavo González de Vega, and the Europe Growth and Engagement Manager of WEConnect International, Valeria Rodríguez Felgueras. The event took place on July 22nd at the Gabinete Literario in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The meeting brought together over 40 entrepreneurs with the aim of opening a strategic door towards equal opportunities in entrepreneurship and economic development.

Internationalizing is not just about selling beyond our borders; it's about transforming business mentality, diversifying risks, gaining competitiveness, and connecting with international value chains."
Proexca has certified 45 Canarian entrepreneurs with the WEConnect International seal since 2023, making the autonomous community a pioneer. This year, 15 new entrepreneurs are in the training phase. Projects like those promoted by WEConnect International are crucial for teaching entrepreneurs how to adapt to the standards of large global corporations, access international tenders, and build contact networks with multinational buyers.
