The selection process covers various specialties, with the Teaching Corps leading with 686 positions and 7,912 applicants. The remaining vacancies are distributed among Secondary Education, Official Language Schools, Plastic Arts and Design, as well as Vocational Training and Music and Performing Arts.
Official tests will begin on June 20 for most bodies. However, candidates for Vocational Training Specialist Teachers will start on June 13 due to an additional practical exam. Mandatory presentation sessions will be held throughout June and late May, depending on the specific specialty.
To ensure the smooth running of the exams, 28 venues have been set up across seven islands. Tenerife will host twelve venues and Gran Canaria eleven, while Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro will each have one venue to facilitate access for candidates.
“"The importance of this major operation is necessary to hold exams of this magnitude."
