After a period of pleasant temperatures, the Canary archipelago is preparing for a significant weather change. AEMET has detailed that the coming week will be marked by mostly cloudy skies, with a low probability of light rainfall, which will be more likely and occasional in the central islands.
For Tuesday, general cloudy intervals are expected, with a higher concentration of clouds in inland areas and eastern slopes of the higher relief islands. In these areas, occasional rainfall is probable, though generally light. Temperatures will remain stable, with no major variations, and strong winds are forecast for the summit of Tenerife.
On Wednesday, the forecast indicates partly cloudy skies with evolving cloudiness in the afternoon in the east of the islands and, to a lesser extent, in the north, where it will tend to be cloudy, with no排除 of light and scattered precipitation. The week of May 11 to 17 is shaping up to be colder than usual for this time of year across much of the country.
