The tenth edition of the CANARIAS7 Company Race is being held this Sunday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, bringing together thousands of participants and commemorating the newspaper's 30th web anniversary.

CANARIAS7 employees are preparing to host the tenth edition of the Company Race, scheduled for this Sunday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Some staff will compete in the 5k and 10k races, while others will cheer from the sidelines, all united by their enthusiasm to be part of this event.
This year, the participants' t-shirt carries a special significance as its design commemorates the 30th anniversary of the newspaper's website. The sporting event is expected to attract over 5,000 runners.
The 10k race will kick off at 09:00 AM, followed by the 5k race at 10:45 AM. The start and finish lines will be at the Fuente Luminosa, with a circuit passing through several central city streets, including Luis Doreste Silva, Juan XXIII, León y Castillo, and Triana, among others.
The staging of this tenth edition is made possible by the institutional support of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, and the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It also benefits from the sponsorship of companies such as Binter Canarias, Disa, Aena, and CaixaBank, along with the collaboration of several other entities.
The event maintains its charitable aspect. One euro from each registration for the official races will be donated to the Fundación Canaria Yrichen, an organization dedicated to addiction prevention and treatment. Furthermore, the entire registration fee for the Children's Race will be allocated to this NGO.
