In Gran Canaria, the highest temperatures recorded reached 37.4ºC in La Aldea de San Nicolás, 37ºC in Teror, and 36.7ºC in Tejeda, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Meanwhile, Tenerife North Airport registered 36.9ºC, while the municipality of Agulo, in La Gomera, also experienced high temperatures in the early hours of Saturday, reaching 36.7ºC.
In contrast, minimum temperatures were below 20ºC, particularly on the island of Tenerife. Arico recorded 19.4ºC at 06:10 AM and the Valle de La Orotava, 19.1ºC at 07:50 AM.
Other municipalities with minimums below 20ºC include La Victoria de Acentejo (18ºC at 05:30 AM). The Cañadas del Teide saw the lowest temperatures of the morning, with 16.5ºC at 07:20 AM.
Finally, on the island of La Palma, San Andrés y Sauces also maintained minimums below 20ºC, registering 18.5ºC at 07:30 AM.
