The Granca Live Fest 2026, held at the Estadio de Gran Canaria from July 2nd to 5th, has sold 90,000 tickets, exceeding all expectations and consolidating itself as a top-tier musical event in the Atlantic.

The Estadio de Gran Canaria is preparing to host the fifth edition of the Granca Live Fest, which has become a key event for the start of summer in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The anticipation has led to over 90,000 tickets sold, with projections of reaching 100,000 attendees during the four days of concerts, taking place from July 2nd to 5th.
This year, the festival celebrates its fifth anniversary by adding an extra day to its program. Furthermore, its largest stage in history debuts, with an additional 300 square meters. This expansion was necessary to accommodate the complex stage design of artists like Aitana, as confirmed by Leo Mansito, director and CEO of New Event, the organizing company.
Leo Mansito highlighted the scale of the infrastructure: "We are breaking records in terms of infrastructure, with a much larger stage, to have the same setup that Aitana has in any concert in mainland Spain." He added that the festival aims to be a "festival experience with gastronomic areas for all tastes and needs at affordable prices".
Alfonso Cabello, Vice-Minister of the Presidency and spokesperson for the Government of the Canary Islands, stated that "all eyes in European music will turn towards Gran Canaria." The festival is consolidating itself as an economic driver, generating between "16 and 18 million euros," according to Cabello. More than 2,000 people will work daily at the venue, which will feature the classic zip line and gastronomic areas with the Gran Canaria Me Gusta seal.
The Granca Live Forest project, which plants trees to offset the festival's footprint, continues its commitment to the environment. The city's mayor, Carolina Darias, described this edition's lineup as "the most important in these five years of existence," expressing her enthusiasm for the performances by Alejandro Sanz and Dani Martín. She highlighted the City Council's role in consolidating the festival and its contribution to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria's bid for European Capital of Culture 2031.
The president of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Antonio Morales, emphasized the festival's growing presence on the European scene and its ability to attract cultural tourism, diversifying the island's offerings beyond sun and beach.
The program for Thursday, July 2nd, includes Playa Coco (18:00), Ptazeta (19:15), Dani Fernández (20:45), and the only concert in Spain by Ms. Lauryn Hill (22:30), followed by Viva Suecia (00:15).
Friday, July 3rd, will be marked by Latin and urban rhythms with La Pantera (18:00), Carlos Rivera (19:30), and Danny Ocean (21:00). The highlight will be Juan Luis Guerra (22:30), followed by Lola Índigo (00:15).
Saturday, July 4th, will feature Agua del Chorro (18:00), Grupo Frontera (19:00), Dani Martín (20:45), Alejandro Sanz (22:25), and Aitana (00:15), who will perform on the expanded stage.
As a gift for the fifth anniversary, an extra day has been added on Sunday, July 5th. After performances by local bands Monkey Faces (18:30) and Postcode (19:45), the festival will close with Maroon 5 (21:00), led by Adam Levine.
