The sporting event kicked off with the 10K race at 9:00 AM, followed by the 5K race at 10:45 AM. Both events were centered at the iconic Fuente Luminosa in the Gran Canarian capital, bringing together thousands of runners and spectators in a festive atmosphere.
Corporate participation reached historic levels, with 542 registered companies, significantly surpassing previous editions and consolidating the event as a benchmark in the archipelago. The organization highlighted a "qualitative leap" in this tenth edition.
In the men's 10K category, Alberto Cabrera took victory with a time of 32:39, surpassing last year's winner's mark. In the women's category, Alba García was crowned champion with 39:49.
The 5K race also saw a large turnout. In the men's category, Francisco Cabrera Galindo was the winner with 15:07, while in the women's category, Marta Azpilicueta Solano led the standings with 17:55.
The race maintained its solidarity aspect, donating one euro from each registration to the Fundación Canaria Yrichen, dedicated to addiction prevention and treatment. The Children's Race also contributed to this charitable cause.
The live broadcast on Televisión Canaria, presented by Lucía Álamo and Fran Fajardo, allowed thousands of viewers to follow the event's progress and festive atmosphere, including the use of drones and augmented reality.
Public figures such as Antonio Morales, president of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, and Carolina Darias, president of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, were present to support the event and encourage participants.
