The Villa de Moya experienced an intense first weekend of festivities in honor of San Antonio de Padua, culminating with the celebration of the 'Moya Dulce' Agro-food Fair. This event, which has become an anticipated occasion, transformed the town center into a meeting point for residents, visitors, and local producers.
The 'Moya Dulce' dessert contest was the central focus of the day, where participants showcased their culinary creativity. Concurrently, the municipal amphitheater hosted various children's activities such as workshops, inflatables, and face painting, designed for the enjoyment of the whole family. Music provided the grand finale with a performance by Daniel Calero and his show '25 years without weddings or silver'.
The mayor of the Villa de Moya, Raúl Afonso, highlighted the fair's importance in valuing local identity and proximity products. He thanked the involvement of all participants and families, emphasizing that the initiative gives meaning to inclusive festivities. For her part, the councilor for the area, Belén Rivero, stressed 'Moya Dulce''s role in promoting local gastronomy and talent, connecting the municipality's identity with its economic and social development.
The Agro-food Fair marked the end of a first festive weekend that began on Friday with the opening speech by Roberto Rivero García and a commemorative concert. On Saturday, the program included a concert by Pastora Soler and the 'Noche Latina', attracting numerous attendees.
