These exams, which provide access to Vocational Training throughout Spain with no expiration date, are designed for those who do not meet the academic requirements for direct entry. The initiative seeks to offer a path to qualification and employment for residents of the archipelago, as well as people from other Spanish regions and foreign residents.
In addition to the general tests, ordinary call exams for intermediate and higher cycles of Plastic Arts and Design will take place this Thursday. These will be held at art schools in Fuerteventura, La Palma (Manolo Blahnik), and Lanzarote (Pancho Lasso), as well as at the art and higher design schools (EASD) in Gran Canaria and Tenerife (Fernando Estévez).
For Special Regime Sports Education, specific entrance exams will continue until May 15, with approximately 1,500 participants. The Ministry emphasized the importance of conducting these tests across all islands, not just the capital ones, to ensure all Canarian citizens have the opportunity to continue their studies and enhance their qualifications.
“"The implementation of these tests throughout the island territory is of great importance, as it alleviates territorial limitations and allows any Canarian to continue their studies and enjoy new opportunities for qualification and employment."
The institution highlights that this call reflects the regional government's commitment to lifelong learning and reinforces the goal of bringing Vocational Training to all of the Canary Islands, consolidating an accessible offer adapted to citizens' needs. The full calendar of specific tests can be consulted on the Ministry's official website.
