Maintenance work on the Tenerife tram tracks, starting this Sunday, will cause traffic modifications at a guided roundabout located at the intersection of Ángel Romero Avenue and Alcalde Mandillo Tejera Street, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
From 07:00 AM, the circular traffic on this roundabout will be cancelled, preventing turns. Additionally, traffic in the left lane will be prohibited, as detailed by the Santa Cruz City Council.
However, users will still be able to use the roundabout to go up and down, as the right lane in the ascending direction and one lane in the descending direction will remain open.
As alternative routes for changing direction, drivers can use the 29 de Mayo roundabout, at the intersection of Islas Canarias Avenue and Belgium Avenue, or Ángel Romero Avenue where it meets the Santa Cruz-La Laguna general road, near the start of Pedro Suárez Hernández Street.
The execution of this work will not affect the tram service, which will continue to operate normally according to scheduled times and routes.
The urban transport services of Titsa will also remain unaltered, maintaining their usual routes and stops in this section.
This third phase of works concludes the tram track maintenance activities carried out by Metrotenerife in the municipality, which began on April 19th in the Puente Zurita area and subsequently moved to Cruz del Señor.
