This award, celebrating its fourteenth edition, recognizes the career and performance of outstanding figures in island basketball. The selection of the three finalists was made based on votes cast by fifteen media outlets covering the team's news.
The results of this first voting phase revealed a tie between Pelos and Wong, both with 13 votes, while Brussino received 9. Now, the final decision rests with the fans, who can participate in a popular vote through the newspaper's website, www.canarias7.es.

The public voting will begin this Tuesday and will remain open until Monday, May 16. The trophy presentation will take place during the match against BAXI Manresa, scheduled for May 23 at 7:00 PM at the Gran Canaria Arena.

For his part, Isaiah Wong has been a key offensive reference for the team, leading in scoring with 358 points and an average of 13.3 per game.
