A sick crew member aboard the 'Star Hansa' vessel was evacuated by helicopter on Friday afternoon approximately 20 miles east of Gran Canaria.

The Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (CCS) in Las Palmas received the medical assistance request from the Norwegian-flagged ship and deployed the necessary resources for the operation.
The Helimer 205 helicopter traveled to the ship's position to carry out the evacuation of the affected individual.
Subsequently, the crew member was transported to the Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín University Hospital to receive the required medical attention.
