The celebration of the pilgrimage and offering to the Virgen de Antigua, held on Sunday, September 6th, became a demonstration of how to rescue and improve local traditions. Mayor Juan Cabrera highlighted the event's significance by uniting the municipality's popular music groups in a folkloric gathering that marked a milestone by rehearsing and singing together on the stage of Plaza de Antigua.
The groups La Tafeña, Montejanana, El Campillo, and the Agrupación del Colectivo Mafasca participated in the gathering. Special guests also included ‘Parranda la Serená’ and ‘Los Alisios del Norte’.
