This decision was made considering information provided by the State Meteorological Agency and other available sources, in application of the Specific Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands for Adverse Meteorological Phenomena Risks (PEFMA).
A slight decrease in temperatures is expected, more pronounced in mid-altitude areas and on the southern and western slopes. However, temperatures will exceed 30 degrees in the southern and western oriented slopes of all islands. Maximum temperatures could reach and exceed 34 degrees in the southeast, south, and west mid-altitudes of Gran Canaria, the west mid-altitudes and peaks of La Palma, as well as in the metropolitan area of the island of Tenerife.
